Bridoire, it is also a castle, hero of a recent and extraordinary story (it was formerly owned by Bokassa, and almost disappeared in the 1990s), furnished in a “family home” atmosphere of the late 19th century with its kitchen and its 100 copper pots, its dining room and its luxurious table, but also guards’ room, dungeon, prison, king’s bedroom, and Father Foucauld’s chapel. Activities: Candlelight evenings but also two mysterious mazes in the castle park, during summer. Easter eggs hunt and Halloween activities during little holidays. Open: From May to September.
